Welcome! New Hope Church is made up of people who believe that faith is a confident adventure and that a relationship with Jesus Christ makes life full and free. We are people from a variety of places and backgrounds who believe that the Christian life is something that we can celebrate together. We hope you enjoy and are intrigued by what you find on this site. More importantly, we hope that you'll stop by and give us the opportunity to meet you in person. You'll find a warm welcome here.

What can I expect when I visit New Hope?

Our single story, handicapped accessible building is located at 4739 W. Powell Rd. in Powell, Ohio, right next to the Columbus Zoo. Click here for a map and directions. To access our parking lot, from W. Powell Rd. turn onto the side street next to the church (Gibson Dr.), then left to access New Hope's parking entrance. We invite you to use our convenient visitor parking spots near the main entrance, by the covered drop-off area. If you have trouble finding a spot, additional parking is available on the back side of the building.

When you walk through the doors of New Hope you'll be greeted by a friendly face, often that of Senior Pastor Steve Norden or Associate Pastor Sarah Palsma. Both are usually at the main entrance to the church, which is near the covered drop-off area. There are also entrances near the preschool area, on the back side of the building.

From the main entrance, our Welcome Center will be on your left. Feel free to say hello and ask for information or assistance (if we don't offer it first!). Our sanctuary is just past the Welcome Center, also on your left. If you have children in need of nursery care, turn right from the main entrance and you'll find the nursery just down the hall, on your right.

There's no dress code at New Hope. Some people dress casually, and some dress formally. Wear whatever you're comfortable with!

New Hope offers two worship services each Sunday. At 9:30AM we have a contemporary worship service, featuring praise music and a more casual feel. At 11:00AM we have a traditional worship service, where we worship using timeless hymns and liturgy, and create new traditions together. Nursery care is offered at all services, but children are always welcome to attend worship with their families. Sunday School is offered for all ages; schedules vary, so please check the church calendar for this week's schedule.
