Each summer, Senior High youth (incoming freshman through graduating seniors)
can spend several days "living their faith" through a mission trip
organized to help those who are less fortunate. The rewards are great. The youth
work together, often painting, cleaning, doing construction, or just fixing
things up for people who need helping hands and prayer. Each trip also
includes a free day from work to enjoy local activities and attractions. Past
trips have taken us to Noxen, PA; Clincho, WV; Dunganion, VA; and Dulce, NM.
Money raised from our annual two-day garage
sale typically funds
these trips, which always are accompanied by more than a dozen church adults
and family members.
See how these mission trips have impacted people in Brooklyn,
NY, Noxen,
PA, and Connellsville,
PA.
