The Bible
New Hope Church believes the Bible is the Word of God and the final authority for faith and practice; we believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Savior of those who have faith in Him; and we believe in the historic Christian faith as confessed in The Apostles’ Creed.
Is New Hope handicapped accessible?
Yes. We have a single story building with no steps or stairs to access the building or any of its rooms. A limited number of wheelchairs are available for use while visiting. We also have a program for children with Special Needs called “EveryBuddy” where adults are paired with children who need extra assistance. Assistive listening devices are also available during worship. Please stop by the sound booth at the back of the sanctuary if you’d like to use one.
New Hope's Denomination
New Hope is part of the Reformed Church in America, a protestant denomination which has had a presence in America since 1628 when the Dutch Reformed Church established its first congregation in New Amsterdam (now known as New York City).
What programs are there for kids?
On Sunday mornings, children from preschool through 5th grade can attend Sunday School during worship at 10 am. Our Children’s Ministry also offers KidsClub at 9 am on Sunday mornings during the Adult Discipleship hour and Nursery Care at both 9 am and 10 am. Throughout the year we offer a variety of fellowship and learning opportunities such as Vacation Bible School (VBS), Easter Egg Hunt, and more! Learn more on our Children’s Ministry page.
What time is worship at New Hope?
New Hope offers one unified worship service at 10 am. During worship, children will be invited to join their peers for Sunday School but are also welcome to stay in the Sanctuary. We also offer two spaces right outside of the Sanctuary – the Cry Room and the Wiggle Room. The Cry Room offers a space for families needing quieter worship, while the Wiggle Room is for those with littles who need to move and make a joyful noise during worship!
What should I wear?
There’s no dress code at New Hope. Some people dress casually, and some dress formally. Wear whatever is comfortable for you!
