Church Administrator, Part Time
New Hope Church of Powell, Ohio is seeking a part-time (25-30 hours/week) church administrator. The position reports to and supports the senior pastor and manages the daily administrative activities of the church including staff resources, finances, communications, tech ministry, safety and physical facilities. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree, related leadership experience, strong team, collaboration, interpersonal, communication, organizational and computer skills. They must also know Christ as their personal savior and be able to enthusiastically support the ministry and mission of the church. Financial Administrator, Part Time
A 15 – 20 hour a week position that supports the administrative financial functions of New Hope church by working collaboratively with the church administrator, deacons and church staff in achieving church goals. Maintains and updates all accounting records of the church. Performs accounting analysis and reconciliation as needed. Prepares all month and year end closing reporting, including balance sheets, income statements, actual to budget calculations, ledger entries, and benevolence reports. Formally closes books each month and at year end. Other Accounting responsibilities as assigned. General accounting/bookkeeping experience required, as well as demonstrated skill in performing accounting functions. Strong knowledge of church/non-profit accounting systems and practices desired, including the knowledge of/ability to learn fund accounting. Church membership is not a requirement
