Adult Ministry

Join Pastor Sarah in a 3-Week Bible Study during the season of Advent (December 1, 8 and 15 @ 6:30 pm). As we prepare our hearts and minds for Christmas, we’re going to consider the family tree of Jesus. God’s plan of redemption came through a long line of imperfect people, to bring forth a perfect Savior. The family tree of Jesus Christ points us to the hope of our salvation that every kind of person with every kind of story is invited to belong.

Healing Care – Women’s Small Group

New Hope Church is partnering with Healing Care Ministries to offer our first Healing Care Small Group starting this January.

This 12 week journey provides Christian formation experiences to help participants encounter God in new and fresh ways, to be reminded of how He sees you and to cleanse you of anything holding you back that is not of Him. This first class will be for women only, with the hope to offer men’s groups in the future as well. Healing Care Small Groups are limited in size in order to maintain a safe and intimate Christian community. This group will meet at the church on Monday nights beginning January 10 from 5:30-8:30 pm. Stay tuned – more details and registration coming soon!
Band of Brothers has two primary goals:
1. Create lasting friendships through fellowship and discussion. Each gathering opens with a question such as “what has happened in your life since the last time we met” to “if you could go back in history to any single week of your life, when would that be.” If a man does not want to answer a question, it is more than okay to pass.

2. Read and reflect on God’s word together. The material is presented in way that all levels of Biblical knowledge should find it interesting, from first time readers to those who have studied the Bible for years.

Each gathering contains a stand-alone topic and requires no homework, so come when you can. The next meeting will be on December 8th in the Choir room with the last gathering for the year on December 22nd from 7-8 pm.  Should you have questions or comments please don’t hesitate to reach out to Bill Bryan at
Empty Nesters is a social/support group at New Hope. We won’t discriminate if you aren’t an empty nester though! Before covid, we did activities such as bowling, attend a baseball game, dinner at a home, watch OSU/Michigan game. If you are interested in joining our group, please contact Russ Fling ( with Empty Nesters in the subject). Thank you!
